Guaranteed Satisfaction Policy
Optocon will accept the return of the equipment that does not completely satisfy
the customer, for any reason whatsoever. A 15% restocking charge is applicable to returns
on all new units. The following limitations apply to returned goods: the customer must
send a written request to return the goods within 30 days of the invoice's date. Requests
will be processed by the Customer Service. The instrument must be returned in the
original package along with all documentation and accessories included with the system, and
shipped collect to the point of origin. Acceptance of returned instruments, and subsequent
refunds, is subject to approval pending an inspection verifying that no abusive treatment
of the instrument or its components occurred.
Return of Material
All products returned to Optocon for any reason require a Return Merchandise Authorization
(RMA) number. Our Customer Service assigns this RMA number with all necessary
instructions. To obtain yours, fax your RMA request to +421 2 48205 231. This is the only
accepted return procedure. IMPORTANT: Optocon will not be responsible for any product returned
without an RMA number.
All payments are net 30 days for established accounts. For new account we require advance payment by wire transfer.
Shipping and insurance costs are charged to the customer's account or added to the invoice.
Customs and duties are not included in the price of units sold.

Orders cancelled two weeks prior to shipment are charged a standard 10% administration fee.
Once an order has left the factory, cancellation or restocking is not possible without
incurring a restocking charge.
Basic Warranty on New Units
Optocon's products are warranted under normal use:
1) to be free from any defect in design, material, and workmanship,
2) to conform strictly to specifications and approved samples,
3) to be fit and sufficient for the purpose intended for a duration of 24 months.
Caution: Under no circumstances should anyone besides Optocon's trained personnel open the
case of an instrument since permanent damage to the unit might occur. The opening of a
unit's case immediately voids all warranties on Optocon's behalf. Removal of the warranty
sticker across the seam of the case nullifies Optocon's warranty. Furthermore, removal of the
case screws also voids the unit's warranty. Please do not hesitate to reach our Technical
Support for further information on our warranty policy. Optocon agrees to repair or
replace, free of charge, any part proven to be defective within the warranty period. The
warranty does not cover equipment or parts subjected to misuse, negligence or accidental
destruction on the user's part. Optocon will assume all shipping charges for warranty returns.
This warranty is standard for all Optocon products. Any exception shall be stated in writing
to the customer.
